Terms of Business
1. Ordering
Orders are arranged by phone, e-mail, contact form, social media or in person. Before an order is confirmed, the subject, size, technique, price and completion time are agreed.
2. Deposit and payment
For commissioned paintings and live painting, a 50% deposit is paid when the order is confirmed or the date is booked.
The remaining 50% is paid as agreed – before collection or shipping, or after the service has been completed.
3. Completion time
The completion time is agreed individually, depending on the type, size and complexity of the order.
4. Collection and delivery
Paintings can be collected in person in Zagreb or sent by post or courier within Croatia and abroad.
Delivery costs are paid by the buyer at actual cost.
For attendance in person outside Zagreb, a fee of €100 is charged. Any accommodation is charged at actual cost, by prior agreement.
5. Cancellation
If the customer cancels, the deposit is non-refundable.
If work on the painting has already begun, the customer may, by agreement, take the work in its current, unfinished state.
6. Commissioned paintings
Portraits and other works made from a photograph, or to the customer's wishes or specifications, are made by prior agreement.
For such works, the applicable regulations and statutory exceptions for goods made to the customer's specifications apply.
7. Copyright
All artworks, photographs and content published on this website are protected by copyright.
Downloading, copying, reproducing, publishing, altering or using the works without the author's prior written permission is not permitted.
Works from the Gallery may not be used to create new artworks, products or other content without the author's permission.
By purchasing a physical artwork, the buyer acquires ownership of the physical work, but not the copyright to reproduce it or use it commercially.

The business of GALERIJA SOKOLOVSKA is governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of Croatia.
